Sampdoria : Summer ins and outs

Sampdoria have had an active summer, many players leaving and a few coming into the club. First to leave was Walter Mazzarri who left the club after two seasons in charge, Atalanta coach Luigi Del Neri took over the hot seat.
Next to leave was Hugo Campagnaro who went to Napoli for a fee of around €5 million, Daniele Mannini came the other way in a co-ownership deal. Soon to follow were Marko Pieri who went to Livorno and Gennaro Delvecchio who returned to one of his former clubs Catania.
Sampdoria secured the loan services of Luciano Zauri from Lazio and Marco Rossi from parma. Other notable players to join the club were Fernando Tissone on a co-ownership deal from Udinese and Franco Semioli from Fiorentina for a fee of around €4 million.
Official : Rossi in Mirante out

It has been confirmed on Sampdoria’s official website that Parma’s central defender Marco Rossi has joined on loan and Mirante has went in the opposite direction.
The statement says “U.C. Sampdoria have acquired the sporting rights of footballer Marco Rossi from Parma on a temporary basis with a right to buy a 50 per cent stake,” reads the statement.
“Meanwhile, the club communicates that the sporting rights of footballer Antonio Mirante have been handed over to Parma Football Club on a temporary basis.”
Rossi came through the youth ranks at Parma and impressed a lot last season, the likes of Milan were said to be chasing him last January.
